  PROGRAM

Nancy Botero introduced Angelia Milener who is Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at Broward College.  The Veterans Affairs at Broward College is designed to act as a liaison between the students and the Veterans Administration.  The first GI Bill was instituted in 1944 and has evolved over time.  The post 911 GI bill or the current bill pays 100% of in state tuition for service man and woman and in addition pays a monthly housing allowance and gives money towards school books.  These benefits can be transferred to a service person's spouse or child if the veteran elected to do so during the time they were in the service.  Both graduate and under graduate classes can be taken as well as vocational and training centers and tutorial assistance.  Angelia then had a short question and answer period.

FOUR WAY TEST

Of the things we think, say or do:

1. Is it the Truth?

  2.   Is it FAIR to all concerned?

       3.   Will it build GOOD WILL and

              BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

    4.   Will it be BENEFICIAL to all

concerned?
